Some of these prisoners fought in Russia and had their Russian campaign ribbon on their tunics. This batch was captured by men of the 6th N.Z. Inf. Bde. whose own casualties were very light. Some of the first batch of 33 are here seen being interrogated by the Divisional Intelligence Officer, Capt. Castello. Some of these prisoners fought in Russia and had their Russian campaign ribbon on their tunics. This batch was captured by men of the 6th N.Z. Inf. Bde. whose own casualties were very light.
