Pachita Crespit , a young artist , has come to London from Costa Rica to give an exhibition of her work at the Beaux Arts gallery . Miss Crespi belongs to a family who have been mainly responsible for shaping Cost Rica ' s history during the last hundred years . Her grandfather Dr Castro , led the revolution which caused Costa Rica to break away from Spain and he became its first President .
