A general view of what remains of the platform at the former Cuckoo Line railway station in Horam, East Sussex. As passenger numbers decreased during the 1960s promoting the line was halted in the Beeching plan and the line was closed to passengers north of Hailsham in June 1965. The former line is now known as the Cuckoo Trail a 14-mile path and cycle route which largely follows the original railway line.
