It was steadily expanded after the War and became a NATO Communications Center (CommCen) to a facilitate over 50 rooms. In 2008 it was closed down and relocated to Faslane. Dwight Eisenhower planned Operation Torch in WWII from here. Later during WWII it was converted into the Joint Operational Communications Centre. It was steadily expanded after the War and became a NATO Communications Center (CommCen) to a facilitate over 50 rooms. In 2008 it was closed down and relocated to Faslane. Dwight Eisenhower planned Operation Torch in WWII from here.
