ATS TRAINING FOR OPERATIONAL DUTIES WITH A.A. BATTERIES - Thousands of ATS members are in training to take over operationl duties with A.A. Command. Here they are learning to operate a predictor. On the left is L/Cpl. Mary Churchill. The girls are warmly clad in great coats and battle dress and it will be noted that L/Cpl. Churchill already has her first stripe as has the girl on the right, although they have only been in the Service for a few weeks on the A.A. operationl duties and radiolocation. There are exceptional chances of promotion for recruits.
