Burgwedel, Germany. 24th July, 2019. Two benches stand on the shore of the partly dry Würmsee lake in the Hanover region. The renewed drought has again ensured that the groundwater level of the lake is very low and that the water has partly fallen dry. Many fish have died. Germany is facing a heat wave - and already on Wednesday this will be clearly noticeable in many areas.
