The centuries-old patron saints of Naumburg Cathedral, St. Peter and St. Paul, had to be lifted down from the east choir in 2021 due to severe weathering. Now duplicates are to be placed there. In a competition, the design for the figures of the apostles Peter and Paul has now been chosen.
