Ambulance drill at Headquarters Army of Potomac, near Brandy Station, Virginia., March, 1864. Zouave ambulance crew demonstrating removal of wounded soldiers from the field. Photographed by William Frank Browne. Glass negative, Stereograph, wet collodion. My personal research suggests that the soldiers shown here are from the 114th Pennsylvania regiment. The distinctive Cuff patch and trouser embroidery around the pocket area is the reason for this conclusion.
