There were gasps of admiration from onlookers on the top-decks of buses at the vintage fire engine in Orchard Street, London. The fire engine was made in 1880 and it is named Victoria. So it was natural Victoria Feren, an employee from Selfridges, should try out the driver's seat when she welcomed it to the London store, where it will be on display at a special Centenary Exhibition of the London Fire Brigade.
