Walkley,' leaves the slipway at the shipyard of the Blyth Dry Dock and Shipbuilding Company, Newcastle-on-Tyne, England, on June 11. The tanker which has a deadweight of 18,000 tons and a displacement of 22,000 tons, is the largest oil tanker ever built for an Australian oil company. It will undergo trials off the coast of Northumberland and is expected to reach Australia in February, 1954. January 01, 1953.
