STRAIGHT UP?Little Rissington, Gloucestershire, England, UK : Vertical take off in half swan formation? It certainly looks as if the Royal Air Force Red Arrows aerobatic team, giving their first 1965 public display at Little Rissington Central flying School, are zooming up almost vertically. Although the aircraft do actually take off in formation, the team had just completed a dive over the airport in their red painted Gnat jets for the benefit of visitors.
