The right colic artery is a small vessel which goes to the right part of the colon. The middle colic artery is much the largest of the colic vessels; it supplies the transverse colon and part of the right colon. The ileo-cseco-colic gives off ileal, caecal, and colic branches. Anastomoses are established between the colic arteries, and the ileal branch anastomoses with the last jejunal artery. The trunk is continued as the.
