Architects: John Carrere and Thomas Hastings, NYC. The hotel was built for Henry Morrison Flagler, developer and railroad magnate who was responsible for the development of much of south Florida. The hotel is now St. Augustine City Hall and Lightner Museum, sadly the swimming pool was drained and is now a coffee shop and restaurant.
