The Chief Rabbi Jonathan Sacks was the guest of honour for the celebration of the Solihull Hebrew Congregation's 25th Anniversary. During his visit he met children in the lounge of a family from the congregation. He talks informally to young Jewish children about their work achieved at the synagogue's Cheder (classroom), minister of the congregation Rabbi Yehuda Pink looks on. He spoke during a the commemoration n service on 27th October 2002.The Mayor of Solihull Cllr. Kate Wild attended and was presented with a bouquet from Cheder pupil 13 year old Zipporah Gershon
