John Lamouranne known as 'The Egg Man' has been recreating famous personalities using eggs for over three decades. The 63 year old from New Orleans, Louisiana, creates his 'Egg Art' using strong hollowed goose eggs for the head and wooden or ceramic eggs for the body. He then carefully hand paints each face and in some cases even builds a complete set to place the icon in. John's work includes the late Michael Jackson, David Beckham, rapper Jay Z and Barack Obama and he has also recreated every Beatles album cover. He has just completed an Alice Wonderland set paying homage to the new Tim Burton movie. The set comes complete with Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter and Matt Lucas.
