The landmark Stardust Hotel and Casino on the Las Vegas Strip was imploded in the early morning of March 13, 2007. The Stardust opened in 1958 and was considered Las Vegas' first mass-market casino due to cheap rates, food and drinks. It came down in a show of fireworks and ended in a cloud of dust.
