Grade II listed fan window, originally installed in 1863 for passengers on the Buxton to Manchester line. Originally there station had two of these. It was restored and repaired in 2019 by the Friends of Buxton Station following vandals had broken some of the glass panels.(according to "Explore Buxton") whilst a plaque beneath the window lists commemorates a restoration in 2009 with a contribution from The Railway Heritage Trust.
