The statue of Eric Morecambe (Eric Bartholomew. 1926–1984) of the former comedy due Morecambe and Wise. It stands on the seafront at Morecambe, Lancashire, UK at the top of a set of steps engraved with the words of the pairs signature tune 'Bring me Sunshine" engraved in a typewriter style font. .It was sculpted by Graham Ibbeson and was unveiled by the late Queen Elizabeth II in July 1999. It stands not far from the well known 1905 clock tower Clock tower. designed by by Cressey and Keighley built in Red brick with sandstone banding and dressings.
