The striped-faced dunnart (Sminthopsis macroura Here as Podabrus macrourus) is a small, Australian, nocturnal, "marsupial mouse," part of the family Dasyuridae. The species' distribution occurs throughout much of inland central and northern Australia, occupying a range of arid and semi-arid habitats.
