The typewriter. Here a manual variant, not electric. The keys of each letter is connected to an arm, and when pressed hits the sheet of paper with a carbon ribbon between, making the printed letter black. Every movement was made by hand as for example making a new row. When reaching the end of the row, a pling was heard to inform that you only could type a few more letters. Sweden 1971.
