Chinese Olympic diving champion Guo Jingjing gave birth to a healthy baby boy on Tuesday (27 August 2013), her husband Kenneth Fok Kai-kong announced on his microblog. Fok, wrote on his Sina Weibo: Dear friends, my and Jingjings son was born this morning. He weighs 3.3 kilograms. Mother and son are safe and healthy. Guo married Fok in Hong Kong in November 2012. She retired after bagging four Olympic gold medals and eight world titles.
