Two girder bridges rotate over the Nanjing-Qidong (Ningqi) Railway to dock with the High-speed Railway of Lianyungang-Huai'an-Yangzhou-Zhenjiang under construction in Yangzhou city, east China's Jiangsu province, 31 May 2018. The Nanjing-Qidong (Ningqi) Railway Bridge, the first swing bridge on the High-speed Railway of Lianyungang-Huai'an-Yangzhou-Zhenjiang successfully completed the rotation on Thursday (31 May 2018) night. The swing bridge is not only the first bridge of its kind in Yangzhou city of Jiangsu province, but also the one with China's largest span of 16.72 meters. The Huaiyang Town High Speed Railway is expected to open to traffic in 2020. Double-track electrification project of Nanjing-Qidong Railway will be finished this year, making Nantong, Taizhou and Yangzhou along its way available for construction of high-speed railway.
