United States Selective Service System draft card from the Vietnam War era with a classification of II-S. 2-S classification indicated the registered male was deferred from the draft because of collegiate study. Deferment lasted either until graduation or until the registrant reached the age of 24. Exemption was discontinued in December 1971. Two signatures have been removed from the card.
