Upper incisor with post for dental crown. Close-up of the upper incisors of a patient undergoing dental crown surgery on the second upper incisor at left. Here, a dental post has been implanted into the incisor root. A dental crown will fixed to that to restore the function of the tooth. There is also decay (black area) in the canine at centre left.
