U.S. Army Rangers perform a helocast water insertion technique from a UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter during the Combat Water Survival Assessment portion of the 34th annual David E. Grange Jr. Best Ranger Competition at Ft. Benning, Ga., Apr. 9, 2017. The Best Ranger competition is a three-day event consisting of challenges to test competitor's physical, mental, and technical capabilities, and places the military's best two-man Ranger teams against each other to compete for the title of Best Ranger.
