The service gives special prayers for the court and the judges as they start hearing this session’s cases. This mass is special in that the new Chief Justice John Roberts was in attendance along with his wife Jane. First lady Laura Bush was in attendance as well as Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and White House Chief of Staff Andrew Card.
