Waterloo, London, UK. 24th October, 2023. Closed windows at the Ticket Office at Waterloo Railway Station in London. It has been announced that one day Travelcards are to continue. This comes as welcome news to rail passengers who would have been facing higher costs to travel into London from the Home Counties if Sadiq Khan and TfL had scrapped the scheme. In other new, members of the RMT Union have voted in favour of another six months of industrial action. The treat of closing over 1,000 railway station ticket office still continues, however, the proposed plans have received much criticism
