Wendover, Buckinghamshire, UK. 4th November, 2022. The water levels in the Hampden Pond in Wendover have fallen drastically. The Wendover HS2 Mitigation Action Group have previously raised their concerns HS2 and the water in the local area. They believe that the HS2 Cutting and Green Tunnel at Wendover is expected to cause severe damage to the chalk aquifer. HS2 did a CCTV survey of the pond in May this year but it not known what the results are. Credit: Maureen McLean/Alamy Live News
