It has been reported in the inews that HS2 Ltd, the Government backed company responsible for building the new High Speed 2 railway, have signed an agreement with Thames Water whereby HS2 can send sewage and other "contaminated" water to the Maple Lodge Sewage Treatment Works in Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire which borders Maple Cross.
