Wolf's Lair is a town of bunkers surrounded by forest, lakes and swamps. This is Adolf Hitler's largest and most recognizable field command headquarters, which was in use from 1941 to 1945. The Wolf's Lair is located in Gierłoż near Kętrzyn and today, despite the fact that the headquarters was blown up by the retreating Germans, it is a great tourist attraction, visited by almost a quarter of a million tourists every year. The bunkers still hide many mysteries and impress with their size, scale and solidity.
