Worcester, UK. 3rd September 2021. Pictured: Musket carrying re-enactors march through medieval Friar Street in the centre of Worcester. / English Civil War re-enactors take part in a parade to mark the 370th anniversary of The Battle of Worcester. The parade began at the ornate Guildhall, with the re-enactors then marching through the streets of the 'Faithful City' to The Commandery, a building famous for being the Royalist Headquarters during the deciding battle of the English Civil War in 1651. In the evening a contingent of re-enactors climbed nearby Fort Royal Park to attend a service conducted by Rev Peter Hart to commemorate the fact that 3, 200 Scottish and English soldiers were killed during the Battle of Worcester. After a minute's silence musketeers fired a volley above the historic city.
