The flooding is not expected to be at the same level as it was over Christmas 2013 but it may affect the low lying properties in an area now called little Venice. The River Medway flood defences are up at the moment trying to let the backlog of built up rainwater flow to the sea, before the next downpour. Cut off by the floods the grounds are well and truly waterlogged. Teapot island is at risk of flooding again as locals clean up an already devastated area.
