--File--Customers walk into a Walmart supermarket in Beijing, China, 23 April 2011. Outlets of major international retailers Walmart and Carrefour in Changsha, the capital of Hunan province in south-central China, have apologized for selling expired food with an altered manufacturing date. The report indicated that there were two production dates printed on these products which were six months different, giving cause for customers to be suspicious of the foods safety. The administration has confiscated these expired products and ordered the suppliers to refund customers 10 times the money they paid in line with consumer laws.
