The Hawker Typhoon Mark IB was a British single-seat fighter-bomber, intended to be a medium-high altitude interceptor and replacement for the Hawker Hurricane, but several design problems were encountered. A North American B-25 Mitchell, an American medium bomber of the 12th Bomb Group. Introduced in 1941 and used by many Allied air forces to serve in every theater of World War Two.The aircraft took part in the North Africa campaign, the invasion of Sicily and Italy. The RAF received nearly 900 Mitchells in 1943, initially to bomb targets in occupied Europe, but after the Normandy invasion, the RAF and France used Mitchells in support of the Allies in Europe. Most B-25s however were in American service and used in the war against Japan in Asia and the Pacific.
