Victoria Pavilion, Wilder Road, Ilfracombe, North Devon, Devon, 12/06/1954. A group of adults and children posed in the Victoria Pavilion during a Laing staff trip to Ilfracombe. In 1947, after a seven year break, Laing had resurrected their 'Area Outings' for staff and their families, with trips taking place in May and June. In 1954, there were seven outings planned to take place over five weeks in May and June. This trip was for staff and their families from the South-West and South Wales including Bristol, Portishead, Plymouth and South Wales.
